Abstract
The use of digital technologies in distant English learning is critical for determining the influence on the country's various educational levels. The goal of this research is to determine the effect of Quizizz on the English language acquisition of students enrolled in the Foreign Language specialization at the National University Jorge Basadre Grohmann in Tacna. A quasi-experimental design with two comparable groups and a quantitative methodology were used in the investigation. The sample comprised of 32 students pursuing a degree in foreign language. For the purpose of data collecting. A written examination was administered as part of a B1 level international exam, which included a pre- and post-test. The findings indicated that the post-test score for the control group was 62.5, while it reached 86.3 for the experimental group, indicating a significant difference for both variables. As a result, it was concluded that using Quizizz effectively improves the level of English learning in university students.
